AI Policy
I use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to support my creative process — not replace it. These tools help me work more efficiently but nothing beats a personal touch. Original writing creates human-to-human interactions that are more memorable and meaningful.
For clients who allow or encourage the use of AI, I may use these tools to brainstorm ideas, conduct research, suggest headings, structure formatting, or provide minimal finessing of my draft. For businesses that require AI tools, I may use them more extensively. In those cases, I refine the AI-generated material to ensure it meets my quality standards and reflects the client’s voice. But the finished project is always written by me and never wholly AI-generated.
Because AI hallucinations are possible, I personally verify all facts and sources. Accuracy is nonnegotiable.
I take care to protect your confidential data and never enter sensitive or proprietary information into third-party platforms.
If your business prefers I avoid AI altogether, or limit its use, I’m happy to follow your policies. After all, I’ve been a writer for far longer than these tools have existed.
